MATEO
MATEO (Matching Technologies and Opportunities) is a Regional Framework Operation (RFO) in the framework of the Interreg IIIC, a European programme that addresses, on an interregional level, problems related to stimulating technology-driven innovation, a key driver in the sustained regional economic development.
The task of MATEO project is to develop innovations between small and middle enterprises and research and technological institutions, support their mutual exchange of experience and improve cooperation between the regions involved.

Partner:
- RERA Inc. is the official administrative contact partner for the Czech Republic. Its task is to ensure smooth realization of the MATEO project in the region NUTS II South-West (Southern Bohemia and Pilsner region).
Main goals:
- development of innovations in small and middle enterprises and research and technological institutions
- to develop and execute subprojects that stimulate regional innovation through close cooperation between entities from the European regions involved
- to conduct concrete technological and sector-oriented subprojects that bring together bodies form various regions in order to jointly generate industrial activity out of Research and Technology Development
- to develop new knowledge-intensive industrial activities and stimulate the knowledge-intensiveness of existing ones

Procedures:
- interregional brokerage, matching
- involve relevant entities such as research centers, innovative SME´s, technostarters, incubators and transfer technology centers
